My Story

I am running the GNR this year in order to raise money for ARC, a charity which helps people through antenatal results and their consequences. As some of you will know, last summer, I lost a baby following a antenatal screening test found my baby had Edward’s syndrome, a rare genetic condition which meant the baby was unlikely to live to full term and if it did, would die very soon after birth. This was a horrific situation to find myself in but on top of the incredible support of my family and friends, this charity really helped me get through it all on an emotional level. I am therefore running in memory of my little girl in the hope that others can also get support from this great charity if they find themselves in a similar situation.
